This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are processed by Kepto Fintech Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By using our services, you agree to the terms stated below.

1. General Policy Overview

Kepto Fintech operates in a regulated fintech ecosystem, including BBPS, payment infrastructure services, invoicing systems, and SaaS-based CRM solutions.

Due to the nature of digital payments, most transactions are processed in real-time and cannot be reversed after successful completion. However, we follow a transparent and customer-friendly approach for handling valid refund cases as per regulatory guidelines.

2. No Refund for Successfully Completed Transactions

For transactions successfully processed through:
- BBPS bill payment
- UPI, Card, Net Banking, Wallets
- Digital invoicing payment links
- Custom payment architecture flows

Refunds are NOT permitted unless the biller or bank authorizes it. Once a payment is marked as successful on our system or BBPS/NPCI network, the transaction is considered final and irreversible.

3. Refunds for Failed or Pending Transactions

If your transaction status remains Failed, Pending for an unusually long period, or Debited from your account but not updated on biller records, the refund process is as follows:

A. For Failed Transactions

If the payment fails but the amount is debited from your bank or wallet:
- The refund will be processed automatically by your bank/payment gateway.
- Standard reversal time: 5–7 working days (varies by bank).
- Kepto Fintech cannot expedite bank-side reversals.

B. For BBPS Pending Transactions

If a BBPS transaction remains pending:
- The final status is determined by NPCI or the biller.
- If the biller rejects the payment, the amount will be refunded by your bank/payment partner.

C. If the amount is received by the biller

No refund is allowed unless the biller approves it.

4. Duplicate Payments

In case of duplicate bill payments:
- Refunds are handled strictly by the biller (electricity board, gas provider, telecom operator, etc.)
- Kepto Fintech can assist in raising a complaint, but we cannot process refunds directly.
- Resolution timelines depend on the respective biller.

5. Subscription / SaaS Services Refunds

For CRM, invoicing, API access, or platform subscription:

Non-refundable components:
- One-time setup fees
- Custom integrations
- API activation charges
- Consulting fees
- Completed development work

Subscription Refunds:
- No refund for partial usage or remaining subscription period once activated.
- Cancellations take effect in the next billing cycle.

6. Cancellation Policy

A. BBPS / Digital Payments

- Transactions cannot be cancelled once initiated.
- BBPS guidelines do not allow cancellation of submitted transactions.

B. SaaS / Platform Subscriptions

You may request cancellation by contacting us at:

7. Chargeback Policy

Users must not raise false or fraudulent chargebacks. Improper chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension
- Blocked access to services
- Legal action where applicable

We provide all supporting documents to banks during chargeback investigations.

8. Processing Timelines

Refund timelines depend on involved third parties:

Case Type Timeline
Failed transaction 5–7 working days (bank dependent)
BBPS rejection by biller 7–15 working days
Duplicate payment As per biller’s policy (varies 7–30 days)
SaaS subscription cancellation Next billing cycle

*Kepto Fintech does not control bank processing time.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Kepto Fintech is not responsible for delays, failed refunds, or financial losses arising from:
- Incorrect details provided by the user
- Network or server downtime
- Bank or biller issues
- NPCI/BBPS network delays
- User’s negligence or unauthorized access

Our role is limited to facilitating transactions via authorized channels.
